I was lucky enough to go cage diving in Port Lincoln on Australia's south coast. Being face to face with these beautiful creatures really makes you appreciate them and their important role in our marine ecosystem.
The boat ride out to Neptune Island was about three hours, and then a cage is dropped from the boat. Wearing oxygen, you them come face to face with enormous Great White Sharks.
Although I was apprehensive leading up to the dive, I was surprised how relaxed I actually was when I was in the water. The sharks are not at all aggressive, they were more curious and swim right past you without really taking a look. I was in complete awe of how big they were and to be witnessing them so close in the wild.
I highly recommend a shark cage dive if you're ever on the south coast and also make sure to check out our Marine Collection which is inspired by the incredible marine life of Australia.
